Aside from multiple puppet workshops and auditions, this production was my first performance with a hand rod puppet. While working alongside professional puppeteers, I advanced in my skills and knowledge, with improvements in partner work and improvisation. With my talent, I surpassed the original height requirement for this production and proved myself worthy of recognition. Being the first and only puppeteer under 5'6" in this production, I have become a legacy and a great moment in The Muppets and Disney Puppetry history!
Festival of the Lion King

It truly is an honor being included in the legacy of this production as a full body puppeteer. Working here continues to challenge me to advance my skills, animation and improvisation. Throughout the years, casting has entrusted me with this puppet to perform in various events and filmings, including a SAG film production for The View. This show has been adjusted multiple times due to the 2020 pandemic, creating new versions of the show, including Celebration of Festival of the Lion King. Though this production is not back to it's original masterpiece, Festival of the Lion King still remains one of, if not, the best show on Disney property.
Meet Star-Lord and Groot

As part of the opening team, I explored multiple ways to express emotions with a mechanical rod puppet. This puppet in particular had small movements with the help of three rods as well as two bike brakes to control his eyes and mouth. This puppet also required the use of foot panels to operate his sound effects. Along with his many different styles to express, "I am Groot" and gasps, this puppet was destined for massive creativity. With complete control of his dialogue, lip sync and animation, this puppet required exceptional improvisational skills to perform while engaging and knowing where to give proper eye focus, reactions and responses to Star-Lord's and guests' interactions.

As a full body puppeteer, I have been cast in multiple filmings and special events throughout my career, including Disney Channels, Victory Parades, Talk Shows and even SAG films with Wheel of Fortune and The View.

For two Christmas seasons, I performed as a full body puppeteer. This production was my very first experience with full body puppets, and with the knowledge and expertise I acquired from various Puppet Workshops, I learned to harness the art and skills to excel with these types of puppets.
Voyage of the Little Mermaid

This production was the start of my puppet career, introducing me to rod puppets and blacklight puppetry. Acquiring two puppet tracks, I advanced in my knowledge for puppetry and learned various skills, including adapting to different choreography and adjusting to sudden changes in performance. This show will always hold a special place in my heart for being the one that started it all!
Carved: A Pumpkin's Musical Adventure

In this original production, I gained access to various styles of puppetry, including shadow puppetry, hand and rod puppets, and live hand puppets. I performed as a shadow puppeteer and a puppet assist for a live hand puppet, as well as utilizing my skills in singing and dancing. It was a pleasure working alongside several talented performers, including Puppet Specialists Calvin Mack Lester II and Scott Huhn.
